An attendance kiosk will be a mobile device (typically a tablet) which allows for students to sign in to the school if arriving late or sign out from the school if departing early. Schools may have kiosks in one or multiple locations throughout the school, typically admin locations where students would normally arrive or depart.
For each device, the kiosk must be set up prior to use. A new Kiosk can be configured through Settings | School | School Settings | Kiosk Configuration.
The Kiosk Configuration page allows the user to create a new kiosk as well as view existing kiosks that have been previously configured.
The school admin can view the Kiosk Configuration page when the Manage Kiosk Settings permission is granted to the user from the Jurisdiction | Security Settings or School | Security Settings.
